The Fredericktown Community Fire District has a long and successful history of fire safety education. We value this education as a key part of our successful prevention program and are committed to ensuing this is an active section of our department.
Some of our programs that we participate in:
- Firehouse tours
- School visits for Pre-K educational facilities within the fire district
- Fire safety discussions with parents through the local Head Start program
- “Safety Town” conducted by the Fredericktown Recreation District.
- Amish Safety Day conducted by the Knox County and Morrow County Health Departments.
- First Responders Day at Kokosing Campground
- Truck or Treat at the Fredericktown Methodist Church
- Truck visits to talk fire safety at area events.
- National Night Out in Fredericktown
- Deliver programs to our area Boy Scout and Girl Scouts
