CH411, and R415 were dispatched at 4:25pm on Wednesday afternoon to the 14000 block of Cassell Road on the report of a two vehicle MVC involving a semi-truck. Fredericktown EMS responded with a medic unit to this call.
Upon arriving to scene, crews found an SUV with moderate damage and a semi-truck further down the roadway with damage to the trailer. No extrication was required of persons in either vehicle. The crew from R415 disabled the vehicle and controlled traffic at the scene during cleanup and investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
One person from the crash was transported to Knox Community Hospital.
The FCFD had a total of 11 firefighters and three cadets respond to this call. All FCFD units were back in quarters by 5:26pm.
