CH411 and E419 were dispatched at 9:19pm on Thursday night to Vernedale Drive in Mount Vernon on the report of a grill on fire inside a garage. This was a mutual-aid request from the Mount Vernon Fire Department.
E419 responded to the scene with a crew of four. The engine was canceled by the MVFD while en-route to the scene.
The FCFD had a total of 11 firefighters respond to this call.
