CH411, E419, E413, R415, T417, G412 were dispatched at 3:26am on Wednesday morning to the 16000 block of Z Street on a structure fire that was called in by a neighbor.
Upon arrival of CH411 he marked that this was a defensive attack and that the barn was already full involved and collapsed. The crew of E419 stretched our garden lay hose line to begin fire attack and advance around the structure. Incoming crews pulled a 1 ¾” attack line from E419 to work as others pulled roofing material to expose fire.
The structure and contents were a complete loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the FCFD.
All FCFD units were back in quarters by 5:44. The FCFD had 14 personnel respond to this call. There were no injuries reported.
