R415 was dispatched at 9:16pm on Tuesday evening to Simons Avenue in Fredericktown on the report of an activated CO alarm.
Upon arrival by R415, our multi-gas meter detected high levels of carbon monoxide. The home was ventilated and the cause was unable to be located. Homeowner was advised to have it looked at and not stay.
While on this call, a second run came in, this one for an odor investigation in a residence on West Sandusky Street in Fredericktown at 9:31pm.
Additional crews that were at the firehouse from the first run responded with E419. Crews searched the home, found nothing and advised the homeowner to contact us back if this is detected again.
The FCFD had a total of 12 personnel respond to these two calls.
